| Hi Blogger, From stressed out to loving riding her own horses again... Cerice joined Red Mare in 2020, allowing her to go from full-time fully-stressed horse trainer to teaching and training part-time for a select group of clients. Like me, Cerice’s hardworking horse life was taking a real toll on her body and health by that point, and a change of pace was essential. By being open to making her own creative business model, she is having FUN again focusing on her own riding. As a second-generation professional horsewoman, she grew up experiencing everything from training Icelandic horses to carriage horses to western and jumping sports. Her passion is horse and rider biomechanics. She’s lived and breathed the horse industry from the day she was born and has seen the best of it and the worst of it. I first collaborated with Cerice on a project called Equestrian Power, which focused on optimizing the rider’s Mind, Breath, Body & Passion for the sake of the horse. Since the beginning, we have shared a vision of improving lives for equestrian professionals and by extension, the horses we all love. Within Red Mare, Cerice’s specialty is strategy, systems, and taking action! She takes my vision and makes it happen. She is also a gifted teacher and communicator, breaking complex ideas into actionable steps. Cerice also took to heart what we teach our clients here at Red Mare, which is to automate booking and billing. It changed her love for the horse business completely. Cerice inspires me daily to think strategically about my business, stay focused on the important tasks, and to set clear and healthy boundaries. All things we teach our clients to do!
