Hi Blogger, My girl Leah… Leah (like many of you) took a working student approach as her passion for horses was not financially supported and she just wanted to find a way to ride. Leah is smart, efficient, and grounded (that’s why I hired her!) and as she worked her way up the levels in dressage, she was already skeptical about the life she saw available to her as a full-time horse trainer. Leah saw that the status quo in the horse industry was a broken, unsustainable model. So when the opportunity arose in 2020 to join Red Mare and do something about it… she jumped at the chance. Leah was determined to both keep horses as a profession and passion AND help other equestrian businesses succeed and thrive. At Red Mare, Leah uses her knowledge of the horse world and talent for teaching and business while working flexible hours remotely. In 2021 she was able to become a dressage trainer on her own terms, working with clients and horses she LOVES. A self-described “people person,” Leah loves working directly with clients, developing the team at Red Mare, teaching, and strategizing. “I find it so fun to help clients understand the big picture and accomplish their dreams.” I feel so excited to have Leah on my team, and in our mini-course 9 Ways to 10x Your Horse Business, Leah teaches you how systems and processes can transform your business. |
