| Dear Blogger, We may have already met, but we’ve pivoted Red Mare Enterprises into specializing in helping horse pros build profitable businesses by incorporating automation and online video! And since it might have been a while since we were last in touch, I thought it would be interesting to get to know us all better. How about if I start with my story…then you can tell me yours? The Original Red Mare I started as a young freelance dressage trainer with a background rehabbing horses and a degree in design in Augusta, GA. I rode clients’ horses as a trainer and designed hundreds of websites, logos, and marketing materials for other pros “on the side.” I felt LUCKY to be able to combine my two passions, but it came at an increasingly high cost over the years. I was working SO hard, but it wasn’t physically or mentally sustainable. I hit a period of extreme burnout. I began to suffer from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. Finally, I accepted that I needed to take a step back, focus on my wellness, and bring my natural creativity to creating a more sustainable, more profitable business model. And I did! Since 2008, Red Mare Enterprises has been helping equestrian professionals overcome the same roadblocks: burnout, lack of work-life balance, too few hours in the day, and an income ceiling that can’t be overcome working harder and longer. “I had been hustling since the age of 14 and simply didn’t know another way of being. Once you pull yourself out of a pit of despair, it’s unbearable to know others are still down there. You have to throw down a rope and share how you got out!” My super powers: - Mastering time and energy
