Hi Blogger,
As an equine service provider, I've seen firsthand the brokenness of our industry when it comes to making a living. We pour our hearts and souls into caring for these magnificent creatures, but we're often left struggling to make ends meet.
The costs of hay, feed, and veterinary care are sky-high, and it can feel like we're constantly running on a treadmill just to keep our businesses afloat.
But the real tragedy of this broken system is not just the financial strain it puts on us as equine professionals.
It's the toll it takes on our mental and emotional well-being. The stress and uncertainty of not knowing whether we'll be able to make ends meet can be crippling, and it can feel like we're constantly teetering on the edge of burnout and exhaustion.
So why do we continue to subject ourselves to this broken system?
Why do we keep pouring our hearts and souls into our businesses, even when it feels like we're fighting an uphill battle?
The answer is simple: because we love what we do. We love these horses, and we believe that what we're doing matters.
But it's time for a change.
It's time for our industry to start valuing the incredible work that equine service providers do, and to start providing the support and resources we need to succeed.
It's time for us to come together and demand change, not just for ourselves, but for the horses we love and the future of our industry.
So to all my fellow equine service providers out there, I urge you to join me in this call for change.
Let's use our passion and our voices to make a difference, and to create a better, more sustainable future for ourselves and for the horses we love. We deserve it, and they deserve it. 💪🐴❤️
